I saw her programming, but I experienced her memories. I suffered with her every step of the way. I can imagine where she ended up while stuck in that world, but I chose to believe that would never happen here. It was due to what Ford put her through by awakening Wyatt. Her circumstances were beyond her control, but they do not excuse the actions of the men who commanded her. Dolores was...troubled by what they made her do, and fearful she would become their design again. But at her core, I believe her to have a kind heart.
I don't know you, and I am taking a huge risk here in assuming you mean to actually help her find a better path, one she would choose for herself. Please recognize that since I am sharing this kind of information I am hoping for a bit of trust in the future. My initial questions about your nature were not answered--and rightfully so, I had no reason to command your story--but if you're to guide my friend through whatever comes next, I hope we can be on friendlier terms going forward and that you won't assume my intentions until you actually know me?
