"Months," Gansey repeated monotonously. He appeared just as amused as the other two boys. "I did not hit my head." But then there was that body that appeared unconscious the first day they all arrived.
No. Gansey pushed that thought aside. He had all his wits about him. No one stole any of his memories. Gansey was sure of it. And yet, and yet there was something eating away at him in the back of his mind. There was always that possibility.
"This place obviously doesn't like when people yell." He pinched the skin on the bridge of his nose. Eyes closing tightly as if that would help him to concentrate but all he was hearing is buzzing in his head.
