Gladio found himself reaching an arm out to lightly touch Ignis', he knew Ignis was long past the point of needing such to place a person, the sound of his voice had no doubt already done that. More a grounding, a quick reassurance that yes they were both there, they were both real when so much about this whole situation seemed anything but that.
"Not exactly how I expected my day to go, you?" He tried to joke, but it did fall a little flat given everything. "There was a letter," he added as he figured that might have been missed on Ignis' end of things. "The house belongs to a Sir Reginald Carstairs - something about an evil curse that all of us who were brought here are supposed to be able to break." Whatever time missing between them, well, Gladio would deal with it later. Right now there were more pressing matters.
