She was meant to be in Regina's office, walking through the door to the Mayor's office with the rest of the town, hoping to help save Snow and Charming. Instead she walked through to a large house, the staircase sprawling out in front of her, without Regina, Killian or Henry beside her. Add to the fact that she was in a slate grey slim line dress instead of her jeans and sweater, well that was additionally weird. Usually being taken to other realms was obvious, portals or tornados or beans or smoke.
This involved none of those things and was, for lack of a better word, hinky.
A quick scan of the data on the phone with her told her that she wasn't the only one confused by all this. It was a little comforting, sure, but it didn't solve any of the problems. Heading up the stairs, Emma started to take a wander, maybe she'd find Killian or Regina or Henry around here. Knowing her luck, of course Henry was pulled into this with her. Because when did that kid ever catch a break? About as often as Emma did honestly.
The prospect of needing a bed or room to sleep in wasn't exactly something she wanted to think about, but realistically these things never got solved in a day, and at least it'd be better than sleeping on a dungeon floor, or in a forest, or in a jail cell. Better safe than sorry. Stopping at an open door, Emma cleared her throat as she stepped inside, "Hey, sorry, um... I'm Emma, I was just... Can I bunk on your couch?"
