Madison gave a yawn and rubbed her eyes like a child woken up for school, when all she had wanted to do was sleep. 'Yeah? Someone told me otherwise. I don't see why we need to go out...oh, right. Can't we just stay in and watch some sappy movies and cry over those? Put on Love Actually or Pride and Prejudice.'
It was kind of obvious that Madison hadn't showered or gotten dressed. She wore PJ's and didn't look as though she had been celebrating her birthday in anyway except for laying around her room and either sleep or watch television. The day really wasn't that exciting and it didn't feel like she had gotten any older. Now, to convince herself she really hadn't. The only other thing to remind her that it was her birthday were the phone calls from her parents, grandmother and friend wishing her a happy birthday. She of course, never told them that Sam left and faked the happy girlfriend and mother-to-be.
