Who: Elena What: Walking after being sent back Where: In town When: August 22 around 7 PM Status: Incomplete Open?: Open
She had returned to Stonehaven. To New York and to Clay. Of course, the whole point was to return to Stonehaven and stay home. Waking up elsewhere was no fun. She had stayed to keep an eye on that mutt, but nothing happened. The mutt was either laying low or just harmless. Either way, there was no reason for her to hang around to find if there was no trouble for her or her Pack. So, she packed her things, called Jeremy and headed home.
What a thrill it was to walk into Stonehaven to have a run, a real run with a hunt. Play fighting with the boys in wolf form and enjoying the comforts of sleeping in her own bed. Ok, so maybe it wasn't her own bed, but her mate's bed. It felt so good, so right. Elena had actually cuddled a little with Clay, enjoying his warmth and scent. Of course, she didn't tell Clay about the mutt, it would have only prompted him to try and renew his efforts with more force to have kids. And even after twelve years of being with him, two as his mate, she still wasn't ready for that final commitment. Sure, if she wasn't a werewolf, she would have loved a husband and marriage. As a werewolf, the lines got blurred a little. She was his mate, but the town had known her as Clay's wife and she was treated as such.
Even Nick and Antonio rushed up from New York to Stonehaven. Having the Pack together was an even greater thrill, although she, Nick and Clay fought like children at times. She wouldn't have given this up for anything now that she thought about it. She loved her life with them and possibly loved Clay too much to want anything else (even if she would never admit it). It was her life now and she'd never escape it.
After a mid-day run with Clay and Nick, where she and Clay ganged up on poor Nick and tackled him down, the three had fallen asleep in wolf form in the forest behind the house. Stonehaven was this beautiful five bedroom house with an amazing forest in the back of the house complete with a rabbit colony and a lake, all private property belonging to Jeremy Danvers. Trespassers were never taken lightly mostly because of the werewolves that ran through there and/or the possible naked humans they could stumble across. Such was the life of a werewolf.
She woke up back in the hotel room this afternoon, naked and clearly disoriented. The first thing she felt was disappointment and alarm. She called home and explained what happened. She didn't know what had the power to do such a thing, since any teleportation half-demon she knew of, couldn't teleport her this far and there were three types, but fifty feet was the max they could teleport and they couldn't teleport anyone besides themselves anyway. She wanted to call Paige, but she was having her own issues of a twelve year-old ward to deal with. Either way, she was on her own.
Getting out of bed and dressed, she made her way through town, walking and looking. To be honest, she had no idea what she was looking for. Hell, she didn't even know what she should be doing. Going back to Stonehaven now seemed like a waste of time and money. Sure, Jeremy had money to burn, but it was a waste. He probably would have had more luck sending Clay to her at this point.
She really hated this, who ever was doing this would get his. She was sure of it. A human named Winsloe had kidnapped her and emotionally abused her as well as threatened rape, she got payback with his death. If anything, she hoped that Clay would come and they could take care of this together. Since they've been together for the past two years, they hadn't been away from each other for a few days, forget two weeks. The only time they were away from each other from a week, was when she was kidnapped by Winsloe. Not a happy story in the least.
