"I'll be honest," she said with a shrug. "It's quite a rush. You're out there nothing between you from the ground but a d-cell line? But we're professionals. And we train hard for this. And I was grounded after Batman finally accepted me as his partner, until I was able to do everything to a standard that he approved of." She paused. "I know you don't like heights, but if you ever want to try I can find a gym and set up a low trapeze or something," she smiled softly. "I promise I won't let you fall."
She knew he wasn't going to take her up on it, but if he wanted to know the least she could do was offer. She'd been called out three times this week alone and that ice woman had yet to resurface. It made her very nervous. Becuase when they were quiet it usually meant they were planning something...
"Well better to know and not need it than need it and not know," she said with a shrug, taking the gun from Dean, taking what he said into account as she weighed the gun in her hands, settling on a stance that Montoya had taught her a while ago. It wasn't a familiar weight, but she able to deal with it. She was a good shot she'd just never used a shotgun before but she figured that a sawed off wasn't that different than what she'd learned on. She closed her left eye, focusing on a spot in front of her before carefully pulling back on the trigger. She was somewhat prepared for the slight recoil.
