Who: Michael Corner & Kendall Rivers What: Puppy Shopping! Where: Their Flat & The Pound? When: Right after This Rating: PG? Status: Incomplete.
Kendall had been to say the least... Bored. She was in a meeting that wasn't ending, people were talking in circles, and she just couldn't take it anymore. As she pretended to take notes, she wrote in her journal. She had to stop a smile from crossing her face as Michael wrote back. She knew she could count on him for getting her out, not to mention the idea of looking for a puppy was about the best thing in the world. As her assistant came into the room holding a note for her. Kendall took it as calmly as she possibly could. She read it quickly nodding a few times as she did. (She could act sometimes). "Thanks." She said to her assistant with half a smile. "I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have to run, there has been an emergency at my flat." Kendall didn't bother saying anything else. She asked her assistant to fill in for her, which really just made her assistant feel important. So perhaps it was a win - win. Kendall packed her things and headed out of the conference room. She dropped her stuff into her office before dashing outside, why she didn't just floo was beyond her.
As she opened the door to the great outdoors she started to sprint down the road towards her flat. This was going to be one of the better days, she spun once as she turned right. As she started to run just a little bit faster she finally made it to her building. Dashing up to her flat she opened the door. She looked like a little kid who just got told they could go puppy shopping for Christmas... Which was basically what she was, just a grown up kid. As she stopped in the door, a grin on her face as her breath was heavy from running. "MICHAEL!" She called out, where was that awesomely annoying roommate of hers. Of course, Kendall loved that he was annoying, it was part of his charm, and part of the reason she happened to love living with him.
She didn't wait for a response, instead she skipped to the kitchen getting down a glass and filling it with some water. Kendall did need some water, all of that running, while good for her, did make her thirsty. As she drank a few drinks of water her minds was wandering about what kind of puppy they'd end up with. Whatever it was, she was just excited.
