Characters: Asher & Keillan What: Personal hygiene is important~ Where: A river in the middle of the forest, Sun Court When: Early morning Status: Incomplete
It had been days since Asher had woken up in Mytna Forest, confused and far from home with only a garrison of fae for company. The trek to the Sun Court, where Asher would hopefully be helped back to his own time and land, was long and arduous, with many more weeks ahead of them. While that wasn't a comforting prospect, he felt as though he were beginning to settle into his new daily routine. Yet one thing that he did miss desperately, perhaps more than his cellphone and hearing the English language, was his shower. Spending each day walking, the sun overhead making the canopy of trees act as something of an insulator to the floor below, meant that it had been a long time since he had felt clean.
As luck would have it, the group had passed by a river recently. The bubbling of the water, cool and fresh, was a welcome sound to them all. So much so that they made camp nearby, the sound of the running stream a pleasant addition to the familiar sounds of the wood.
It was early in the morning, a little after sunrise, that Asher woke. It was too early to begin making breakfast for the camp yet he was unable to drift back off to sleep and had nothing else to do. The sound of the water, so near and so tempting, roused him enough to stand, and he indicated as well as he could to Omylia - who had been on guard at the time - that he was going to the river. Luckily for him, she seemed to trust him enough to venture off without an escort, and he flashed her a grateful smile before heading towards the water. It took him no time at all to peel away his clothes, each item dropped unceremoniously to the ground until he was stripped entirely bare. Then, with a small gasp at the chill of the water lapping at his feet, Asher carefully waded into the current until it reached his waist before taking a deep breath and sinking down under the surface.
