"Very strange." Atreus admitted, which to anyone native to this world would probably sound strange itself given all the things in Faerie which seemed quite bizarre to anyone not from there. His sister was out and about in the human world for the first time ever, so he figured that qualified as strange. Atreus always assumed one day his sister would venture out but he never quite pictured it like this. "I am relieved to see you aren't alone however." Not that he would have expected her to be. Although had she been alone Atreus would have thoroughly enjoyed reprimanding the guards for allowing her to do so.
His appearance drew the waitress back to the table and Atreus hid his annoyance at the interruption well, ordering a simple rum and coke with no ice. He likely wouldn't drink most of it but he liked the slight sweetness of the combination. Once the waitress left he returned his focus to his sister, arms resting comfortably on the table. The way Letha spoke of the place made him crack a smile. "Odd is certainly one word for it, you'll hear no argument from me on that. And you should know you're welcome to stay with me, at least until you get a little more adjusted to the way of the world in this city." He paused when he noticed the waitress returning, offering the woman a polite smile as she left his drink.
"I've found it's easier to rent a house than to try and stay at a nice hotel, not that many are up to our standards." he continued once they were alone again. A benefit of being royalty was that money was rarely a serious issue. "A house offers more privacy and is far easier to secure. And we certainly want to make sure you stay safe, sister."
