Even though Letha had read plenty about the human world, it was entirely different to experience it first hand. Her curious eyes were set to watching a couple in the corner, the two of them were sitting intimately close while having a private conversation. The woman was smiling softly, and every once in a while they would share a laugh together. The candlelight danced off their pale skin, and once he leaned in to kiss his date, Letha finally looked away since the couple deserved some privacy.
About that time was when her water was brought to her and the waitress asked if she wanted or needed anything else. Since she had o clue of what to order, Letha dropped her eyes to the glass of ice water and shook her head. There was condensation on the outside of the glass, and she watched the glass sweating before she felt something oddly familiar. Lifting her eyes sharply, her gaze darted to her guard and a moment later she saw her brother making his way through the crowd. A bright smile came to her features before she reached up to push some hair away from her face.
"Tria," she responded kindly, and refrained from getting up to hug him. Even though he didn't ask the questions, Letha could easily see that he was instantly curious. She arched her eyebrows as he moved to sit, and she leaned forward a little bit. "Strange to see me here, isn't it?" She shrugged softly at his question before answering. "About an hour ago. I walked around for a little bit before I decided to come in here." She glanced over at her guard, mostly just to make sure he was still there, before looking back at her twin.
"It's… Odd here," she admitted quietly. "I wanted to see what the appeal was." She wanted to see what drew her brother to keep returning to the mortal world. "I… Suppose I'll need to find a place to stay here?" She arched her eyebrows at that, almost as if she was asking Atreus' permission to stay. "How does it work?" She asked the question with a soft laugh, feeling a bit silly that she had read plenty, but still knew so little.
