That night Atreus was out roaming. Not looking for trouble exactly, but if it crossed his path he might not pass up the opportunity. Humans could be so easy to toy with. Especially in this city, where rumors and myths seemed to pass frequently as truths and not all acted with the same naivety to the supernatural.
A guard tailed him -- only one -- as they had a tendency to get in the way of his fun when he was in such a mood. It was one of his more lenient guards at that, who was used to the prince's way of fraternizing with the occasional vampire and werecreature. There was always a fine line between protecting and being confining; just because Atreus understood well the necessity of having guards didn't mean he agreed with it all the time. If the highest of the Sidhe couldn't protect themselves against threats then what respect could they possible receive?
The bar was one that was known to Atreus through his prior visits to the city, although one he often was content to avoid because the ratio of humans could be too high for his liking. Tonight though he sensed something that made him pause outside on the sidewalk. Slipping inside, the candlelight was easy for his eyes to adjust to and he took a quick look around, wondering at what could possibly compel him to linger. Atreus certainly didn't expect to catch sight of anyone familiar... wait. Was that his sister? Somehow he managed to keep the pure surprise off his face and he wasted no time in making his way over to her. A million questions suddenly popped into his head, not the least of which concerned security. With his temporary tunnel-vision focused on his twin, he almost missed one of her guards as he passed them. That eased his mind a little bit.
"Letha?" His sister's name came out as a question as Atreus stopped next to the table. It was simply so strange to see her here, in the human's world. Where was she staying? Was she safe? Why had no one told him? Atreus tried to compose himself, quickly taking the seat across from her when he realized he might draw attention if he simply stood there. "When did you get here?"
