[ The idea, when she had first heard it, was so crazy that Chall swears that if it were a plan for an intervention, she would have scrapped it and would order to not have it mentioned ever again. It was an idea so preposterous, so insane--
that it just might work.
And, truly, there were days when she cursed the day she let her heart fall (albeit in jest) as it literally makes her ache when they do not see each other in so long. She had been waiting at a corner near the door, half in waiting for him, half as an initiative to bolt if needed. It had not been long since the Captain arrived herself, but the wait (not long at all!), the nervousness, the anticipation had made it seem as if she had waited forever, and that her heart was in her head and pounding away in her ears.

[ -- her voice comes out clipped, near breathless. Her eyes, sooner accustomed to the dim of the room, find him and she half-blindly reaches for him, almost desperate, hands searching for his face, for his lips...
Because if Chall Acustica has to wait another second without kissing him she might just break something. ]
