[The moment he awakens in a strange place, he assumes he's been sent there by SEELE. Thus, there is no panic, not even a moment of fear. Just wide-eyed, slightly sardonic interest.

Why the secrecy? And why a lavish hotel, of all places? He can't imagine what they're thinking, but he feels the key in the pocket of his school uniform (a white, short-sleeved button down with an orange t-shirt peeping out from under the slightly opened collar and black pants), so he gets an idea of what he's meant to do. Find the room, open the door, solve the mystery. How kind of them to give him some entertainment after the monotony of Shinji's depression.

So, naturally, he approaches the door of his room - 708 - and opens the door. Once he's inside, he settles down on the satin bedsheets that adorn the heart-shaped bed and waits. All will become clear soon enough, he feels. It's just a matter of waiting. And Tabris has been waiting a very long time to be activated - a little more won't hurt.

If the person who comes in happens to have met up with boy!Rei Ayanami, they'll be in for something of a shock.]

((Mangaverse Kaworu coming out to play! Don't expect the sweetheart of the anime, or you'll be in for a dark surprise. Also, I'm not available for tagging until tomorrow, but feel free to throw up a placeholder and I'll get back to you just as soon as I can!))

	Why do you want to know? [Kid glances down at his hand, not having realized it was still there until something was said. He removes it from the other boy's side, but he doesn't back away. Oh, I want to know a lot of things. There's so much I don't understand. I want to know all of it. I was only awakened a couple of weeks ago, you know.

[It's the most honest thing he's said to Kid, although he hasn't exactly been lying - more like playing linguistic games with him.

He takes Kid not moving away as encouragement to lean closer again. He does have his issues with personal space, and he's got some sensations of his own working on his body. Can he get away with another kiss? How long would it last this time? He licks his lips pensively.]

Awakened?

[Kid doesn't wait and listen for an answer. Instead, he finds himself mimicking that action. He doesn't want to want another kiss, but something about this guy-- no this place-- just made it all too hard to resist temptation. Not to mention there is some part of Kid that is curious as to what might happen if they continue.

So he'll lean in even more, and maybe Kaworu can feel Kid's lips just barely brush against his own or maybe he'll have to get closer.]

[He opens his mouth to explain about being kept in an LCL chamber since his birth, but then Kid is moving closer and he thinks he feels the ghost of a kiss against his lips. That's unexpected. Smiling wickedly, he tips his head to capture Kid's lips more firmly and wonders again about his one kiss. Was it a stolen one, like Kaworu's? Was it consensual? Was it a boy or a girl? So many questions he wants to ask, but for now he's too wrapped up in the kiss to break away and speak again.]

	[And Kid puts his arm right back at Kaworu's side, gripping hard and on both sides this time. He doesn't realize what he's doing when he pulls Kaworu closer, but there's no space between them any more and he vaguely wonders if he shouldn't have done that. [Kaworu murmurs softly into Kid's mouth when he feels that hard grip on his side - he likes the slight sting, and really likes the desperation Kid is suddenly showing. Slowly, he backs him up into the nearest wall, pressing their bodies together and rocking gently against him. When that movement makes stars burst out behind his eyelids, he does it again, a little rougher this time.]

[With that Kid can't help but gasp and hiss into Kaworu's mouth. He reciprocates the action, but he has to pull away from the kiss because his breathing his getting harder and it feels like if he doesn't pull away he might not get enough air. He hates that he wants this so badly, he hates that he's doing this right now, but most of all he hates that he hates all of this because it really does just feel so fucking good.

Kid remembers about the bed in the room, and he opens his eyes slightly to look over at it, wondering if they should go over to it. But when he finds himself rubbing harder against Kaworu he forgets that thought, instead opting for switching their positions so that Kaworu is now agaist the wall.]

	[That question catches Kid off gaurd and he hesitates. He really doesn't know what he's going to do now that he's got Kaworu pinned like this-- it was just a heat of the moment thing. [Kaworu laughs quietly and shakes his head. He's an adorable little thing, really. While Kaworu is willing to try just about anything if it might work, Kid appears to be paralyzed if he's not certain of what he's doing.

He pushes off the wall and wraps an arm around Kid's waist, pulling him closer again and dipping his head to kiss softly along the line of his neck. He's just following where his mouth leads him, where it says it wants to kiss. Slowly, he works his way up to Kid's ear, where he whispers softly before nibbling on the lobe:]

Tell me about your first kiss. What was it like?

[The question doesn't process in Kid's head at first. All he can think about is how much he likes the feeling of Kaworu's lips on his ear. His grip is back on Kaworu's waist and he leans into his touch even more. When he does respond his voice is heavy and he's breathing heavily.]

It was.... nothing like this.

[And suddenly his initial thoughts of how much Kaworu and Rei look alike come back and he wonders if it's ok to be doing this with a who looks so much like his.... girlfriend? Would she still be considered that since neither of them are in the prison any more?]

	No. We hadn't known each other long enough. [He doesn't like these questions. They make him feel much more aware of what he's doing and who he's doing it with and that just makes him hate doing this even more. But he doesn't do anything to stop it. 	Mmmmm... [He likes that, and he tilts his head to one side to expose his neck more openly. Kid's getting a little more couragious now. It's charming.] Can Shinigami feel love? [He continues with that action, adding small kisses here and there and slowly moving up to Kaworu's face.]

[Kid isn't sure how to answer that. As far as he can tell he's never really loved another person. His friends... He felt a special bond win them but would that be considered love? Even with Liz and Patti. They're connection is based more on admiration than any feelings of love, but could any of that turn into love? He's not sure. Even parental love was iffy. He and his father didn't have a bad relationship; they cared about each other and respected one another, but it just didn't feel like love.

Kid doesn't answer the question. He kisses Kaworu on the mouth instead and hopes the question will just go away.]

[He's hit a nerve. He can sense it. He wants to push, but that kiss feels too good to ignore, so he concentrates on that instead - meanwhile his hands start to wander, sliding down Kid's bare arms (what happened to his clothing? Was he in a fight?) and then up under his shirt to caress his back. He doesn't feel muscular, but he's definitely strong. And his skin is soft, which Kaworu likes.]

[He groans and pulls Kaworu's closer. The feel of his hands on his bare skin is good, and he almost wishes the shirt would just come off. Kid tangles one hand in Kaworu's hair and brings him in more while his other hand doesn't stay in one place for long. It moves from playing with the hem of Kaworu's shirts, to his stomach and somewhere along the lines he slightly brushes against the skin just under the hem of he other boy's pants.]

[My, he is getting braver, isn't he? The hand on his lower abdomen makes him shiver, and he breaks the kiss to take in a long, shuddering breath, staring down at Kid with lust burning in his eyes. He can feel his body responding, feel himself starting to grow hard, but he still isn't sure what to do - and he has a feeling Kid doesn't know, either. They'll just have to trust their desire to lead them to the answers.

He rests both hands on Kid's hips and nudges him backward, toward the bed. Once they hit the edge of the bed, he tugs Kid's shirt up, signalling that he, too, wants it off. He'll deal with his own later. He wants skin on skin, wants to feel the warmth of Kid's body against his own.]

[Kid doesn't let Kaworu wait until later to take his shirt off. The moment his own shirt is off he's reaching for Kaworu's and pulling at it, probably a little rougher than necessary. He's honestly disgusted by the thing and it's one pocket. He doesn't understand how anybody could wear something like that.]

Disgusting!

[Leave it to Kid to focus on symmetry even in this situation....]

	[In truth, he is disgusted with Kaworu. He hasn't forgotten their earlier discussion, but it's been pushed to the back of his mind during this whole thing and Kid chooses not to mention that small fact.] Not you; your shirt! [Then the last part clicks. He's angry because Kaworu's shirt isn't symmetrical? That is the strangest thing Kaworu's ever heard, and it makes him burst out in laughter.]

You're so amusing, Shinigami. [He sits on the bed, still chuckling, then stretches out with his arms resting behind his head. It's a clear invitation, but rest assured that Kaworu will take action if it's not accepted.]

[Kid sighs a little, hardly surprised that Kaworu doesn't share his sentiments, but still sort of annoyed with the laughing. Honestly, he doesn't see why people just don't understand the importance of symmetry.]

[Of course then Kaworu sends out that invitation and even those thoughts are slightly pushed aside. He definitely wants to pick up where they left off, but Kid isn't entirely sure how to do that when his thoughts are still partly on the shirt. So he's just standing there unsure of what to do next. ]

[Kaworu pretty much expects that - Kid's been moving in fits and starts since he arrived, approaching and retreating almost like clockwork, and it's time for him to retreat again. He sits up, holding out a hand, and adjusts his smirk into something a little warmer.]

Come here, Kid-kun.

[Little does he know the importance this name had for Rei - to him, it's just Kid's final name with the appropriate honourific, a logical thing to call him. Who's to say how Kid will react?]
