[She's out in a few more minutes, a deep and needed sort of sleep that leaves her heavy as lead against him and not even moving. Sleeping like the dead, a joke that would've been funny some other time - maybe again down the road when she doesn't wake up with a jolt come morning hours. No dirt, no bite, no dying - she's okay.
