WHO: Michaela and OPEN WHEN: October 10th, Afternoon WHERE: Outside by the Lake WHAT: Kayla needs to be outside. Nothing more. RATING: Low.
While Michaela was never the type to complain, even she had to admit that the rain had lasted for far too long. She knew the weather was necessary for a variety of reasons, and it really didn't do much good to mope about it, but she was beginning to go a little stir crazy. Once things began to clear up, she took the first opportunity that she could to leave the castle for a little while. She wasn't quite sure what she was doing or where she was going, but fresh air was her main focus at first. The sun was peeking through the clouds, not as brightly as a perfect day in the summer, but it was good enough for the young Gryffindor. There was a bounce in her step as she moved across the grounds, though Kayla was sure not to race off and waste her time outside. She wanted to enjoy every single minute, and it's not like she had anything to hurry off to anyway. Humming a little, she paused and let the wind blow through her dark hair, relishing the feel of the breeze against her cheeks. It truly was a beautiful thing to be free of the confining castle.
Opening her eyes again, she kept walking, eventually taking a seat near the lake. Part of her wanted to go visit some of the creatures they used for class, and part of her wanted to stay right where she was. It was a difficult decision, really. Both options were good. As she thought on it, she didn't notice someone approaching from the side at first, as her gaze was fixated off over the water....
