Aaron couldn't really be bothered about Stella's lack of enthusiasm for school. She didn't seem to care about the grades she got, and there was no denying that she was quick as a whip whenever she decided to care about whatever it was she was supposed to be doing. He nodded along to her with his head still in his arms, not bothering to give her a reply beyond that.
He rolled his eyes to himself at her comment about her reputation, lifting his head up and sending her a look of disbelief. "You have got to be kidding me," he muttered. "What could you really lose by making a new friend? You could even not let them know it's you, if you are honestly worried about your hardcore rep; which I don't believe you are, by the way." He would never fully understand why Stella felt the need to keep people at arms length or further, he knew she was a delightful person, so why did she go around pretending to be anything otherwise?
He pushed himself up with a sigh and rubbed a hand over his face, sitting back up in his seat. "I don't think so, she just said they seemed big or something like that," he thought back over the letter, attempting to pin down the way she'd phrased it. "No, she wants to learn how to ride one, but they seem too large." As soon as the words were out of his mouth, the corner of his lip twitched up and he let out a fake cough to cover the sudden less than chaste ideas that popped into his mind. "We haven't been talking that much, but I opened with telling her three facts about myself and asked for three from her," he continued once he'd gotten himself back under control, tipping back absently in his hair.
"And it wasn't like they were deep, dark secrets, Stella."
