Stella pondered his question for a minute. Was there any one else? Was Aaron really the only person who would jump when she said so? She hadn't tested out Amadeus just yet, so it was safe to say yes. At his suggestion of her loving him, Stella playfully cuffed him. "That was a secret! How did you find out?" She might have pretended to have a stone cold heart, but Aaron was her dearest friend and she did love him, as much as a person can love another.
"I feel fairly certain that everyone is allergic, but some people are addict to pepper-up potions, and those are good students." Stella nodded knowingly, as if that was the most reasonable conclusion. She shot a hateful glance toward her backpack. If teachers taught them adequately during class, homework would not be necessary.
Stella gave Aaron a skeptical look. "I think you and I both know that friends don't gravitate to me. Especially via letter where they aren't greeted by my delightful smile." Stella shrugged. "Anyway, they're in Ravenclaw, which rivals Hufflepuff for most boring house." Stella pretended that she wasn't insulting Aaron house, but the corner of her mouth clearly wanted to become a smile.
"Congratulations," she said dryly, not particularly sure that she cared about the gender of her penpal. It was just as well if it was an house elf. Either way, she was disinterested. She wasn't so sure that this stranger had anything to offer her. Stella very nearly asked why he wanted to remain anonymous, but she realized rather quickly where that feeling originated. "Yeah I suppose. Can I read your letters? I might like to figure out who she is. What house is she in?"
