Stella felt her heart melt a little bit when he responded, but she was promptly taken out of her sentimentality by his next comment. She immediately looked dejected. "What good are you to me anyway?!" she lamented, sure that they both knew how silly she was being.
"Well aren't you a studious boy," she teased him gently. She tended to leave her homework until the very last minute, but it never took her as long as it took him. She had suspected that he had better quality, but academic success didn't usually make it onto her radar.
Stella sighed dramatically. "Dear god, I really hope that mine doesn't think this is going to be a bunch of fun and write me all the time. I have things to do. You're fairly high maintenance and Amadeus is even worse." Neither statement was true, but that hadn't ever stopped her before.
"Well, I wouldn't put all your bets on that one. Hogwarts is a haven for effeminate men. I wonder if we recruit them specifically." It was likely a girl. "Can we not just ask them? Can my first letter not be 'Tell me everything about you starting with your underwear size.'? I don't really know what is appropriate." She rubbed her nose to hide her smile.
