Aaron was putting up the finishing touches on his coursework when he heard a familiar tapping noise at the window beside his bed. Placing his things to the side, he walked over and let in the owl, glancing down at the name on the outside of the envelope, a slight smile flitting across his face as he saw it was addressed to him. He grabbed one of the treats he kept in his trunk for the owl and sank back down onto his bed to read the letter, rolling his eyes when he saw it was from Stella, demanding he meet her in the Library. If the words in the letter didn't manage to press how quickly he should make his way there, the flashing charm that she'd placed upon it would have clued him in.
He looked over at the clock, and then back at his homework. He had no doubt that if he went to see her, he wouldn't get anything done, even if they would be in the Library. But he was nearly finished with it, and it wasn't due until the end of the week. It could wait. He let the owl back out without a reply, deciding to let her stew for just a little bit while he made his way down.
He didn't rush himself as he walked down the halls, Stella needed to realise that he wasn't her personal minion, contrary to what she might believe. After a leisurely walk he walked into the Library and glanced around the room, spotting Stella's dark hair near one of the more poorly lit tables. "You beckoned?" He said dryly, slipping into the seat beside her.
