Although Taylor's playful expression didn't change at the insinuation that her name was Noah's favourite, a flare of pink came up in her cheeks as she shook her head. "I'd say you had better taste than I'd given you credit for," she returned, stepping past Noah in order to get closer to the unicorn. Once she was in front of Eden, her attention was well and truly captured by the animal, the corners of her lips quirking as her hand was nuzzled.
It was only once Noah mentioned that he had something to tell her that Taylor turned her attention back to him. Removing her hand from the unicorn, she turned in order to fix Noah with her full attention. It seemed strange that he was acting so nervously, his hands wringing and his gaze averted. It made the Ravenclaw both curious and anxious, her teeth nipping at the inside of her cheek as she regarded the boy. Although she wanted to interrupt him in the hopes of saying something to perhaps ease his mind, she managed to hold her tongue as he eventually got his words out. Yet she most certainly wasn't expecting what he said.
There were a few moments of confusion for her as she thought back to her journal. As soon as Noah mentioned cinnamon though, something in her mind clicked and she found her eyes widening in surprise. It was Noah who confessed to having a crush on her...and she'd had no idea. It was difficult to process, seeing as Noah had been her friend for so long. Had she really been so oblivious that she hadn't seen it? Evidently, as a rush of scenarios flickered through her mind then: Noah always asking to carry her books between classes; the way he always seemed to get a little more shy around her; the fact that he seemed to like the scent of cinnamon and that Taylor was his favourite name...
"It was you?" she asked, her tone quiet as her brow furrowed, "You like me?"
