"I think we should all be more in control." She said, a little bitter about what had happened, about passing out, about not being able to stop the last two metal balls from bashing in her collarbone and face. She didn't bare any marks of what had happened from that - broken bones once healed don't leave any residual marks. Jackie had done well in healing her, and she had healed herself once or twice during the attacks so that nothing new had scarred her. But that didn't mean she wasn't upset about anything. "After what happened... I realized I wasn't as in control as I thought."
She sighed, but was thankful that the conversation was moving in a more peaceful direction. She didn't mind talking about her abilities, it was part of her life whether she liked it or not. So she might as well like it. "Sometimes it does feel that way. I get overwhelmed, especially the first few nights in the mansion. Sure, I can latch on to non mutants as well, obtain their skills and knowledge, but it's nothing like feeling an entire new ability and how it works. It makes me forget that it's not mine. I almost feel sad, sometimes, when I let go. Lose the feeling of that ability. It's... strange." She paused, looking at Angel with a smile now gripping at her features. "You're welcome." She said, seriously, looking at him with a steady gaze so he knew she meant it.
"Oh, problems, hm? Well, then, maybe I'll go back inside -- " She would have continued, but she laughed instead, unable to be all fake-mean-serious at that. She took the last drag of her cigarette pushing the cherry out of the top and putting the finished cigarette back in the pack. She didn't litter.
It was mean to the Earth!
"I don't hate puppies. Only sometimes. They're cute when they aren't yours and you don't have to take care of them." She smirked, then put her hands on her hips, looking around at the people crowding the streets. "Well. You should know that I'm absolutely fabulous." She said, looking at him very seriously like she meant this. Because she did. Honestly, who doesn't think Calle's the most fabulous person at the mansion? She's the bomb, duh.
