The instant he stepped outside and the brisk night air wrapped around him, Angel's frayed nerves settled down more. As much as he vented his frustration to Calle, a large part of Angel remained agitated with himself. He thought he'd gotten better at taking control of his abilities. He hadn't blown anything up unintentionally in ages and hell, he'd even gotten used to being around electronics again! It was a setback like the static burst that further reminded him he had a lot to learn. After another deep breath Angel listened intently to Calle's words and found himself nodding in agreement.
"I know stuff happens, its just..." he paused not sure how to say it without immediately resorting to expletives. "It's annoying because well, even with the control I do have it stinks knowing I still have room for mishaps. Which kinda worries me since when I lose control things have a tendency of blowing up... or melting. Oe both." There was a small shrug he gave as he tried not to dwell too much on his past foibles. He tried looking at things from Calle's perspective but Angel was anything but a slacker when it came to understanding his abilities. It was his way of balancing an otherwise potentially chaotic element in his life.
When the subject turned to Calle's abilities Angel shifted his stance as he focused his attention on the girl. His brow raised curiously at Calle's confession on what she could do. While the girl was apprehensive on revealing herself, Angel hopefully surprised her by showing how accepting he was by nature. "Genetic Mimicry?" he asked in reiteration. "That sounds pretty cool... and challenging. Must be hard to not feel like you're losing yourself with being able to copy everyone around you, huh?" it was a blind shot into the dark but it was his way of relating to her. Putting himself in her shoes, if only from an emotional aspect. "But its... its kinda reassuring to know you would have my back if I lost it. T--" a modest smile etched over his lips as he did his best not to blush. "T-Thank you."
As the pair fell back into playful banter Angel didn't hesitate to keep in time with the girl. If only to figuratively offer his hand to the girl in friendship. "But see... I like dogs, this may cause problems between us." He feigned a pensive sigh as he crossed his arms. His expression suggested he was dreading a potential conflict, but the playfulness in his eyes gave away the joke.
"Granted I did just realized we're both the same age, even if we have different animal preferences. Aside from being a fantastic dancer is there anything else I should know about you Ms. Puppy-Hater?" again his grin ebbed at his teasing nature. Without realizing it, just having Calle there to relate to and hear him out helped calm him down from a moment that potentially could've ruined his evening.
