For a night designed to forget about the worries back at the mansion it was ironic how Angel managed to run into someone from the mansion. Clearly fate had meant to challenge his change in mood and see if he could keep it with someone else around. With his apology in the air Angel expected it to be taken and both parties go on with their evening. However he found himself being poked in the shoulder by an enthused and possibly intoxicated Calle.
"You know me?" he retorted quickly brow cocked as he took a pensive sip of his drink. There was the faintest hint of a grin on his lips as he looked again at the girl, how he managed to find someone he knew at a club was beyond him. Angel carefully reached out and tipped Calle's hat back as he revealed her pretty face. "Oh my god, y-you do know me!" he responded loudly.
His reaction was a mix of genuine excitement and curiosity. Angel was new to the mansion and still very much acclimating to his new environment, he knew some of the students. Or at least knew their names. Calle was one of the students he vaguely knew of. He hadn't spoken to her in depth but the girl seemed nice enough that running into her in the club was an amusing turn of events. "Fancy meeting you here, Calle." He mused with another swig of his drink. But before Angel could add anything else Calle blurted out her demand of him dancing with her.
Well... the girl would get absolutely no protests from the red-head. None. At. All.
"Alright, I'm down." He smoothly answered as he raised a hand for a quick pause. It was a foolish decision but Angel quickly downed the rest of his drink. The liquor burned its way down his throat and his head spun a little from the sharp taste. A small gasp for breath escaped his lips as the young man sat his now empty glass on a nearby table and offered his hand to the girl. "Shall we?" he grinned warmly as he began to lead the way to the floor.
If he was buzzed before, he was sure to be drunk as soon as that drink hit him. "Did'ja come here alone or with more guys from the mansion?" he asked curiously as the pair navigated through the crowd. Angel made polite conversation for the moment, pushing past that nagging urge to become quiet and timid around someone he barely knew. Calle wasn't that much of a stranger but she was someone he was still warming up to. He heard around Xavier's about how Calle was one of the students who had gotten the brunt of the attack, his run-in with Teddy fresh on his mind and making him apprehensive to say the wrong thing around someone who obviously had gone through hell that dark day. He assumed Calle was there as much as anyone else to enjoy herself- no need to ruin her evening.
Angel pensively tugged at the hem of his black and red pin-striped button-down shirt, making sure he still look presentable as the pair headed to the floor. It might've been pride or an intuitive sensing that both twenty-somethings were there to forget the chaos they'd been immersed in lately. But Angel tried his best to keep an upbeat (and slightly tipsy) attitude. "You look really nice, by the way." He complimented, "I like the hat."
The pair finally stepped onto the floor, the music flooding the club in quick beats and hooks. Angel relaxed again, letting his body catch onto the song immediately as he fluidly moved in time. He turned around to face Calle as he continued dancing and showing off some dance moves he picked up over the years.
