Wedding Bells (Here We Go Again) [Attn: EVERYBODY]
Hana stared out at the crowd of crazies that they'd somehow lost their minds enough to invite, and sighed, a little. Well, it was going smoother than he could have hoped for, at the beginning of this, and...he smiled, his fingers curling around Uryuu. The official part was done with-they were married, god help them both, and the last two years things had been...well, mostly quiet. Or as quiet as life could be, with friends like these.

Still, this ordeal wasn't over yet. Actually, the worst was just beginning. Something about the wedding reception. And the speeches that were traditional, and they had to dance? Why hadn't they eloped? Still, there was booze, so there was something to dull the burning embarrassment, at least. Also, cake...a rather magnificent cake.

Hana sighed again, and smiled helplessly. Oh well, they were his friends, and he wasn't going to hurt them for being embarrassing today. Much.

Before Hana could do something sensible like enjoy his happy moment on his and Ishida's special day, Jou flung himself at the short healer with nearly enough force to knock him over. His black suit-jacket had been abandoned somewhere, his sleeves had been rolled up, his tie had been stuffed messily in his back pocket and he looked like somebody had just told him that there was never going to be any food ever again.

"Hana." Even his voice was slightly panicked. "Hana, why didn't anybody tell me there was going to be speeches? I hate speeches. I can't do a speech."

	Renji grinned slightly at the healer, he was totally supportive of their marriage and who could pass up a party? He gently jabbed Rukia's side with his elbow and raised his glass. Using a utensil from the table he began to tap it's side signaling he wanted to see a kiss and hopefully the rest of the crowd would echo with clangs to cheer them on. (Reply to this) (Parent)

He rolled his eyes and ignored Renji, he supported the marriage but he really just didn't want to see THAT much. How did he end up here again?

Oh yeah, Dad...

A groan issued forth from his throat but was suddenly cut off as an immense weight seemed to nearly pull him from his chair. He physically sank as his eyes widened. What the hell?

"I got this." Without waiting for a response he grabbed the odd shield of sorts which hung from his hip. He leaped from his body, now in shinigami form, and bolted for the door.

A. This was a damn good reason for him to leave and B.Why have the others bother with it? Leave it to him and they could enjoy the party.

	And he might have gotten away if it hadn't been for the roomful of Shinigami who were present. Such as the one blocking the doorway when she'd been seated a second before "You're not leaving " Her voice was completely calm as she stood there arms crossed over her chest and staring up at him. Would the half-pint standing in the door way stop him from his mission? No. Frickin'. Way. Yeah, maybe she was doing it to be sure he didn't get himself killed, he appreciated the concern, but he wasn't some little kid anymore. He could handle himself for a while. He wasn't expecting EVERYONE to stay put anyway, he knew someone would follow him out. But he wanted to get there first.

So he picked up the pace as he bolted towards Rukia and as he got near her he bounced off the floor to spring clean over her head. He extended a leg in a flying kick aimed for the closed door behind her.

Sailing, Sailing for that sweet, sweet freedom and...wait. His eyes widened slightly as his ankle stopped moving forward and started pulling backward with the firm hand that held it in place. His body continued it's momentum however and he soon found himself in an up-close and personal view of the door. Painfully a thud echoed through the room and was quickly followed by a second. His head spun and his back ached like the dickens all thanks to the half-pint that was stronger than she looked.

"What the fuck!" He growled out and got to his feet in a flash. "Why the hell can't I leave eh? It's not like I didn't fight half these guys to get you back! What's a few bad guys!?"

Renji had moved softly from his seated position and was frowning at his two friends. As Ichigo moved to his feet to better argue with Rukia, Renji's strong hand quickly clasped over his mouth as he took a step forward.

"Hey, You're right, he shouldn't go by himself Rukia." A wolfish grin spread over his lips. "So why don't we both go and make sure he doesn't get his ass killed? The captains'll catch up then. We don't have ta fight'em just go and observe? What'dya say?"

	Subaru wasn't sure why he'd agreed to come here but the little shinigami had insisted and he hadn't really had the will to fight his determination. He'd found a seat where he'd be mostly ignored and was just staring down at the table ignoring the noise around him. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Seishirou had noted the Sumeragi from the moment he'd appeared, however for the sake of keeping things calm and not wanting to interrupt the wedding proceedings he hadn't approached him or revealed his own presence to the other man.

It was in a way sort of an irony that he looked as he had when he was living currently due to the fact that he'd been given one of those 'gigai' things and a suit for this occasion since it was said that if the shinigami portion of the guest list didn't use them they wouldn't be able to be seen by part of the other guests.

Coming up behind the other man, he clucked his tongue at him in a disapproving manner. "I see you haven't been taking care of yourself these last couple years."

	Subaru went completely still at the voice his hands clenching inside the sleeves of the coat he'd taken to wearing. He slowly turned his head to look up at the man, mismatched eyes widening as they took in his appearance before Subaru attempted to stand. "That makes no sense Subaru-kun." He replied as he watched the other quietly before moving to vacate the seat he'd just taken to go find something lite and that wouldn't be too heavy on a stomach which wasn't used to much food.

Coming back with a simplistic looking soup and a couple cups of green tea, he set them down on the table placing the soup before Subaru as well as one of the cups. Seating himself once more, he gestured toward the soup as he spoke again.

"Eat, you look like you haven't eaten anything in the last week of any substance. Once you've gotten something in you food-wise, then we can talk more."

"Try to eat anyway and I couldn't before now. The only reason I'm back now is because I asked the captain if I could accompany him here since I knew both the 'bride' and groom to be wedded." Seishirou explained watching Subaru quietly.

He imagined his answer would provoke more questions no doubt unless he'd learned more about the shinigami which occupied this area during the last two years. He rather doubted that though since it looked as if the young man had kept to himself as much as possible during his absence.

	Oh. That wasn't good. First things first, Hana snagged Uryuu's arm, stopping him from just bolting off to be heroic. "Not so hasty...they'll be expecting people to rush in, Uryuu."
