As Addy walked towards him, he could kind of feel a slight sway to the platform. Somebody really needed to make this thing more stable before it decided to collapse. “Long enough,” he replied as he glanced over at her again. “I know you do.” He knew that Addy could take care of herself out there. She wasn’t some weak girl. Totally the opposite.
He had no idea of the way that Addy was looking at him. He was pretty much focused on looking out for any potential threats again. If had seen her, he probably would have asked her why she was looking at him like that.
“Hmm, nah,” he told her before he turned around and gave her a real hug. “Of course I missed you.” She was the only one that he was close to. And it always felt weird when she left. “Next time you go out there, I’m coming along with you.”
