Jason Todd ([info]abetterbatman) wrote in [info]entrywaythreads,
He didn't laugh aloud but the amused crooked grin on his lips suggested he could imagine what she was thinking.

"I have plastic cups in the back," Jason said as he settled on the stool, leaning a little against the counter so he wouldn't feel like he was towering over her even as they were sitting. It suited the atmosphere more anyway. He preferred casual, if he could have it. Bryn seemed to prefer that too given how freely they were talking and her 'country girl' get up. He definitely appreciated the outfit, though given his track record with red heads, she could have worn anything and he would have found himself appreciating it. "But that feels like it would be insulting to the alcohol. Never insult alcohol. It'll do worse to you."

He said like a man who implied he had more than a single beer a week. He might have been drinking more now that he wasn't out patrolling every night, but it wasn't nearly as much as he often acted.

"And it isn't like you could give me a cold." He guessed. "Sharing the bottle is fine."
