Well, normally I'd say this is fairly exciting but under the circumstances...

Actually, it's still pretty exciting. Interesting at the very least. My name is Jadzia Dax. I have a coupon for 2 large caramel Frappuccino's if anyone wants to take me up on the offer and get yourself a free drink? And the company won't be too bad either, I promise.

	It's nice to meet you, Wei Wuian. Of course, I'd be glad to have company. Caramel Frappucino's are good but good wine is much much better. You didn't get a bottle in your gift basket? I got a bottle of my favourite drink. It wasn't wine but I'm not sure this place sells the sort of food and drinks I enjoy. Maybe we can find some wine you'll enjoy later? Wine is the finest drink beneath the heavens. Though Caramel Frappucino is an impressive name. I did receive a bottle of Emperor's Smile in my basket but ah--- I drank it! It was only one bottle! If you help me find good wine I will help you find something you will enjoy. It would be a shame to live on mediocre food and drink. We can make something, if we have to. I do not think all the kitchens in this place will be a match for me.

Coffee? Another unfamiliar drink. What does that taste like? Is that one of those drinks you enjoy that is not made here?

Emperor's Smile is the most delicious wine in all the provinces. It's mellow and fragrant, silky on the tongue. I would like to know how it appeared here. An immortal bringing us to a place between earth and the heavens seems possible to me but gifting us tangible items from another place is surprising. I also want to know how they did it so I can build my supply of wine. What is the secret!

Any person raised in Yunmeng can cook! With flavour, too. None of the boring bland rice and vegetables that leave your mouth sad. If I do not know how to make something I can improvise.

I suppose it depends on where you get it from but it's bitter and helps to keep most drinkers awake. There is coffee here, just not the kind I'm accustomed to that's all.

Oooh that sounds delicious. I'd love to try it sometime, if I ever get the chance.

I'd like to know that myself. I can't quite understand how we could have all been brought here. I suppose I need to do more research.

Oh, of course. It has to have flavour. And character. And it's always nice to try new things.

Coffee sounds similar to the tea I know. Ah, at least there is something vaguely like home? Unless this other coffee is terrible. ATONE, the immortals say, and then give you pond water!

We can drink together if I discover a way to bring wine from Gusu. It's better enjoyed with others.

You are not the only one to want to investigate. There are so many questions to ask and answers to discover.

Food must have spice also. Lots of spice! Every dish is improved with chilies.

	I do enjoy tea from time to time. If I get the coffee I enjoy again, I'll be sure to let you try it. I look forward to it. I'm a scientist. My natural instinct is to investigate. Ai ya, I forgot to ask when we should meet for drinks! I have time for you whenever you want it.

I assume a scientist is similar to a scholar? I also want to investigate when there is mystery or I do not understand something. It's like being constantly hungry.

Let me know what you find. I have been waiting to visit an establishment that serves food as I would like to eat with company. The furniture looks uncomfortable though! The tables are so high and I have seen seats that have backs like a tiny unstable throne!

	That's a good point. How about we meet up tomorrow? We could meet for breakfast? Something like that. I have committed a lot of time to my studies. What about you? There seems to be a few interesting places although one of them looks pretty expensive. It might be best to avoid that one, at least for the time being. What I'd give to have Hasperat again.
