When: February 23, 2004
Who: Fleur Weasley
Where: Shell Cottage
Private/Public: Private
Rating: All ages
Summary: Fleur reflects on things that have happened in the past few weeks.

Fleur had fixed herself a cup of coffee and headed outside while her mother watched Victoire. It was nice to have her family here, but she missed the quiet of just the four of them - her, Victoire, Bill and Gabi. But with Gabi still missing, her grandmother had insisted they would stay until they found her and had her back at home safe and sound.

She cast a warming spell around her as she sat down in one of the chairs outside overlooking the cliffs. She crossed her legs and held her cup close to herself as she thought about everything that had happened in the past few weeks.

Gabi's disappearance had shook her up. And it hurt her even more now since it looked like someone had taken Gabi. She still couldn't be entirely sure that Gabi wasn't off somewhere having a good laugh at their concern.

Fleur took a sip of her coffee and looked out over the cliffs. It was a beautiful view - one that very few people got to enjoy. It was a magical view, but today Fleur could not take any comfort in it. She could watch the sunrise and see the beauty in the sunset, but Alicia and Oliver never would see either of them again. She was concerned over their deaths - the brutal fashion in which they were murdered and found. Fleur could feel the war happening all over again - she could see it in her mind's eye happening. But this time it seemed different.

She took a deep breath. She couldn't feel like that was what happening. She hadn't brought it up to Bill or her family. She wanted her friends and family safe, but if another war was on the horizon she didn't know if they would be.

Fleur finished her coffee and returned to the house. She needed to focus on her family and that's that she intended to do.
