RP: Do we really have to talk?
When: 91h February, 2004 Who: Adrian Pucey, Stephen Cornfoot Where: Adrian’s townhouse Private/Public: Private Rating: Summary: Another non-avoidable discussion looms for Stephen and Adrian. Adrian, of course, will try to avoid it at all costs.
Although Adrian didn’t agree with Stephen’s parents’ way of looking at things, he knew that Stephen did and that last week’s announcement was probably going to take a while to get over and that there would probably be a few more conversations in the same vein as the first until things were smoothed over. Therefore when Stephen arrived at his later than usual, just as Adrian had finished eating, he wondered why but didn’t ask straight away.
Of course, he wasn't sure that he wanted to know. If Stephen's parents were still against the thought of them and had upset Stephen all over again then it was frustrating knowing there was nothing he could do. On the other hand, he didn't want Stephen keeping secrets from him and... His head was a mess. At least that bit he knew for sure.
Instead of questioning his lover, he kissed him hello and took his hand, Apparating them down into the basement where the cinema room was. Whilst Adrian technically probably shouldn’t have any of the equipment he had there, he’d bribed the relevant officials handsomely and only two or three people even knew of the electronics. “What do you want to watch?” he asked. “I figured we’d actually have a date without going to the cinema so I can suck you off without people watching or complaining. I’m brilliant, I know.”
