RP: I Know I Have a Temper Who: Lavender Brown and Seamus Finnigan When: Saturday, January 3rd, Afternoon Where: The Leaky Cauldron Private/Public: Semi-Private Rating: TBD Summary: The two friends want to talk about recent events.
Seamus Finnigan was still angry over the previous day's Daily Prophet edition. All the bad things printed in there about Seamus's friends and heroes was driving him nutters. Poor Harry! Seamus had meant to send him an owl regarding that stupid story, but in all his rage, he'd frankly forgotten that he meant to do that. Oh, well! He'd see Harry soon enough. He knew of Alicia Spinnet, but he didn't know her personally. However, she was still a good former Gryffindor, and there was no point in dragging her through the mud the way they had!
And finally, there was the mess about Finbar Quigley. Again, Seamus didn't know him personally, either, but he'd been on the Irish National Quidditch Team and now oversaw the league. Seamus remembered watching the man play for Ireland, which made him a hero to Seamus. And Quigley's poor wife, having to read all that mess! How awful.
But there were other things on Seamus's mind, too. Like Terry Boot. New Year's had been quite pleasant, but it was the first time in a long time that Seamus had actually gone home alone. It was strange how that had happened, but Seamus didn't push it. He was a little unsettled over the whole thing, though. He'd had to go out the next night and find a bloke just to make sure he hadn't suddenly lost his game. And he hadn't.
However, it had made him wonder. Terry was a good kisser, and he was exceptionally handsome. Seamus was definitely intrigued.
Who better to vent about all of these things than to Lavender? Seamus hadn't seen her in a few days, so it was the perfect excuse to meet at the Leaky Cauldron for drinks. Seamus arrived first and ordered two beers. He took them to a table near the back so they wouldn't be stuck at the bar with other people. Sometimes, things needed to stay between friends.
