RP: Two... Girlfriends? Partners? When: February 7, 2004 Who: Lavender Brown, Susan Bones Where: Richard and Lavender's flat, Clink Street Private/Public: Private Rating: All ages Summary: Susan drops by to see Richard, but that isn't the flatmate she finds.
Lavender had been exhausted after dropping Tallulah back home to her dad and Caitlyn last night, but she still hadn't been able to sleep well. The flat just felt too empty, what with Richard away in Hong Kong for a couple of days - it was a big space for just one person to occupy. She'd had a thought somewhere around two o'clock and gone to curl up in Richard's bed instead. The pillows smelled like him; she slept soundly after that.
It left her feeling a little embarrassed, but she'd re-made the bed again afterwards, so she was somewhat certain he wouldn't know. Surely he'd just think her clingy if he did, but you never knew with Richard. Perhaps he had ways of knowing these sorts of things.
He was going to be back later this afternoon, but this morning Lavender had the flat to herself. She was listening to music, catching up on some cleaning and taking advantage of having the place to herself and the huge floor space to dance around a bit. They needed to go out dancing again, she decided, spinning around in her thick socks towards the kitchen to put the kettle on. She'd just flipped the switch when she heard the door buzzer. Lavender frowned, sure that she hadn't been expecting anyone.
Leaving the kettle to boil, she skipped over to the door to answer it.
