[OWL Post!] when: January 3rd 2004. who: Percy Weasley & Oliver Wood. With help of their respective owls. where: Oliver's flat and wherever Percy happens to be. private/public: private. rating: PG. summary: Oliver decides to act rationally for once and opts to take legal action. Naturally he needs Percy for the really evil stuff.
Things had gone quite far enough, Oliver thought, still seething with anger. His kitchen was wrecked and, being incapable of directing his anger at a specific person, he had no other option left but to sit down and act rationally. To plan things out in a way that would make things all right and hopefully make that reporter lose his job. At the very least!
Eyes narrowed angrily, Oliver quickly scribbled down a note for Percy and sent it off with Bludger, his identity-challenged owl.
Percy.
I guess you already read today's drivel in the Prophet about Alicia. We've got a serious problem here. They're sending us Howlers and letters and never mind the way passer-bys dare to look at Alicia! Who the hell do they think they are to judge her? What the...never mind.
I want you to help me with two things, please. Perhaps three.
I) Immediate action: She's been screamed at and insulted non-stop and it's bound to cut deep. Help me send out some owls to her friends and motivate them to show her some affection, okay? She needs it. We need to remind her she's...nothing of what they said.
II) Prevention of further damage: We decided that Aidan needs a biological father. What does it take to change the father's name in the birth certificate? Do they need a paternity test or something? And if they do, do you have any idea how to fake one?
III) A bit of purely selfish revenge: Legal action. What can we do to make them eat their words? I don't care about the money. I want that reporter to spent the rest of his days ruing the day he wrote up those lies. And I want the Daily Prophet to bleed for this.
