RP: Dare I guess... When: January 23, 2004 Who: Cass, Percy Where: Cass' flat Private/Public: Private Rating: TBA (Depends on who gets to decide) Summary: Cass comes home after a week of fruitless searching, only to find a slightly more pleasant (and a lot more easily solved) mystery waiting at home.
The second that Cass Apparated into his flat from Scotland, he felt as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulder. The feeling of gloom and hopelessness that had followed him for a week, lifted as suddenly as it had arrived, and for a few moments, Cass just stood there, eyes closed, back against the door, and breathed.
Hell it had to be the first time that his flat actually felt like better than the alternative. Finally pushing off the door, he opened his eyes, only to stop dead in his tracks. A glance told him that, yes, this was indeed his flat, only… well everything was neat.
Torn between rolling his eyes and laughing, he left his bag on the floor as he walked further into the room, wondering how the hell Percy (because it had to be Percy, no one else had access to his flat) had managed that. He'd spent so much time with him up in Scotland, actually lessening the effect the closeness of the Dementors had on him, and he'd worked, and he'd somehow managed to come here and find (made?) room he didn't knew he had. He almost wondered how much magic was behind this, as he'd never dared to expand anything but the trunk and the book cases much. Now though, every book was in order, his clothes were tucked away (he wondered where), the clutter on his table cleared…
Taking the few steps into the kitchen he could see the same thing there. Nothing was out, though on closer inspections there were pots and pans he'd not had before, as well as actual food in the cupboards and the fridge. He smiled, walking back out into the room and moving the bag from the floor to the top of the trunk. Grabbing a quill and a sheet of parchment (that took some searching to find) he quilled down a note, folding it, sealing it and charming it private before writing Percy's name on it. With that he Apparated to the owl post office and sent it off before Apparating back into his flat again with a grin on his face. Hopefully it wouldn't be long before Percy joined him.
Percy,
Why do I get the feeling you have something to do with the fact that there is suddenly food in my suddenly larger cupboards? Did you sleep at all while I was away?
