RP: Unsuspecting
When: April 5th, 2004
Who: Lavender Brown, Huxley [NPC], Lauren Lewis [NPC]
Where: Clink Street, London
Private/Public: Public-ish
Rating: Adult
Warning: Violence
Summary: One of the faithful makes a start on Alecto's orders.

Lavender hadn't realised how late it was getting until her father had insisted it was well past Tallulah's bedtime. Time had slipped away this afternoon as she'd spent a quiet time with her little sister, doing puzzles and silly face masks. It was good to see Tallulah looking brighter and talking more, though she certainly wasn't back to her normal self yet. Dad and Caitlyn were looking into a therapist for her and Lavender could only hope that it would be help.

Before she left Thistle Cottage, Lavender checked the time on her phone, slipping it back into her pocket before Apparating down to London. It was nearly ten and the thought of a late snack and suitably greasy chips was too tempting, so she made a detour to a local takeaway before walking back down to Clink Street. As she walked, she focused her attention on creating a strategical rip in the paper with her chip fork.

Triumphant, Lavender pulled out a speared chip. Multitasking and junk food - excellent.

Pausing outside the building to open the door, Lavender swallowed anxiously. There was someone else around and she knew it, the scent only just now cutting through the sharp salt and vinegar on her chips. She was just paranoid, she told herself, glancing over her shoulder.
