RP: Fancy seeing you here.
When: March 30, 2004 Who: Adrian Pucey, Draco Malfoy Where: The Ministry Private/Public: Semi-public Rating: Summary: Adrian bumps into Draco on his way back from applying for an International Apparition Licence for him and Stephen.
Adrian had been singularly unimpressed with the new international decrees; it had upset him more than Rodolphus’s pardon although he’d been careful not to mention that to Stephen who would probably strangle him on the spot if he did. He knew it was wrong but he was used to traveling on a whim and surprising Stephen yet it was going to be increasingly difficult to do if he had to apply for Muggle passports and take him to an airport or train station first. That was without taking into account that he didn’t really have the first clue how to go about Muggle travel and Stamford was busy enough without him asking questions.
So he’d gone to apply for licences to cover their summer holidays in August. It was mainly to see how the system worked so he could pass on the information to Charles because whilst the Ministry said ‘a few weeks’, Adrian sensed that the checks would make it at least a month and he’d rather have his application in before people even started to think about summer.
Turning the corner, he saw Malfoy walking down the corridor. “Afternoon, Draco. How are you? Heard you got hit by a nasty curse?” he asked, slowing down to a halt as he met the man halfway.
