Ron had spent as much time with Hermione as he could while she recovered. He still had work to do and he always stopped at the hospital to check on Percy and Harry. Now that Percy was released, there was just Harry left. Still, his priority was on Hermione. He brought her everything she could need and stayed close, making sure that fever broke. It had been an exhausting week.
When her fever had broken in the night, Ron was excited. He lie next to her, feeling her cooled head for a good half hour and after that, he really couldn't sleep. Now he was making them something to eat in the kitchen the way he had all week when she was sick. It wasn't much, admittedly, but bagels and cream cheese were filling. He poured two glasses of juice and set them on the table and was just about to go fetch Hermione when she called him.
Ron couldn't miss the worry in her voice and hoped that bloody fever hadn't returned. "Mione," he called, walking down the short hallway to the restroom. He pushed the door open to look at her. She did look very worn but that should improve with the fever gone. "What is the matter?"
