WHO: Felicity Fletwock and Bingham Umbridge
WHERE: Slytherin Dungeons
WHEN: Friday Afternoon
WHAT: Storytime
STATUS/RATING: Completed Log / R
It wasn't everyday that Felicity curled up in a big, comfortable armchair in the dungeon. Not with a book. Especially not with these sorts of books. But she'd charmed the cover to make it look like a ponderous text about the lives of magical cattle. Nobody else would really care about that, she imagined. Not enough to open the book and take a look. But if they did, they would find something far more tantalizing. The Dragon Tamer was the story of an innocent girl from a Pureblood house who is tempted away from her life of luxury by the dashing of a tamer of Hebridean Blacks. But this wasn't just a book of love and romance. Alistair McKnight took more than Eudora Bellel's virginity as well. She was waiting for Bing, but it was easy to forget she was waiting as her fingers traveled down the pages worn from re-reading. Her finger rose to touch the beginning of a passage she had read more time than she had read the book. "I will show you the full brunt of my love," he said. He gripped her hair and pulled it against his face and let out a long sigh. "For you are what burns inside of me, Eudora. You captivate like the light of a thousand suns. Like the red-hot fire of dragon's breath." "Take me," she whispered." She sighed. It was so much easier to read about this than it was to trust herself in it. She knew sex was an inevitable end to what she and Bing had begun, provided they didn't end their relationship anytime soon. But it was one thing to think of losing her virginity before, and another thing entirely to be considering it every time she and Bing met at night. She wondered if her first time would be as memorable as Eudora's. Despite the fact that he was running late, Bing had every intention of sneaking up behind the familiar blonde head tucked away in her book and startling her. He'd seen the book once or twice before, a dull book about cattle that certainly didn't seem like it would elicit such a sigh from anyone, much less Felicity. So instead of touching her shoulder or the shell of her ear, he leaned over the back of her armchair and managed to successfully stifle a laugh after he followed her finger. "Alastair took hold of her milk-white hip," he started to read aloud, loud enough that anyone nearby could clearly hear him, "his grip fierce and full of passion." He reached around Felicity and held the book in place in case she decided to snatch it away or something like that. "He pressed himself fully into her, and she accepted him with a gasp. Her hair bathed the straw in brown as her chest and chin rose in response to the sensations rocking through her body. Her hands rested on either side of her head, and he clasped his hands over them, pinning her frail fingers against the pile of straw as though he were afraid she'd end what he'd begun." He let go of the book, finally, but didn't move away. "Well," was all he had to say to that. It took her a moment to realize what was happening. It was as though the voice in her head that had been with her as she read along was suddenly far much louder. She didn't really realize it was Bing until he held the book fast. That was when her reverie was disturbed and realization flooded her like ice. She tried to pull the book away but Bing's grip was too tight. "Stop, stop, stop!" she said as he read on. Her cheeks flamed scarlet as she tried to get the book away from him, but by the time she had he'd been the one to let go. Felicity slammed it shut and grabbed her things with a furious huff. He moved quickly, positioning himself between her and her escape route as she packed her things and fighting a losing battle with the urge to smirk. She was angry. Of course, she was. But he was too amused to hide it. Especially after she'd insisted she didn't read what he assumed was a romance novel. "I didn't know cows could do that," he said to break the silence. He snatched the book away from her and casually flipped through it just out of her reach. "Or that. And especially not that." "Get out of my way, Bingham," she said, trying to get around him. It wasn't as easy as she would have thought it'd be, not without banging into him. Although banging into him was quickly becoming something she was willing to do. She had trouble reaching for the book with her arms full of her things. She dumped them back on the chair and reached for the book, jumping to try and get it. When he just held it higher she stomped on his foot and tried to get the book. It seemed she wasn't going to get it back. And he was flipping through it as though this was funny when it was decidedly not. She felt mortified by the looks they were getting and she gave up her things for a loss and pushed against him to get through. When she stomped on his foot, he didn't let go of the book as she'd hoped, but he did utter an oath and reel back. She easily pushed past him then. "Come on," he said, "don't be cross." She whirled around, her trek to the girls' dormitory momentarily paused by his request. "Don't be cross?" she said in a harsh whisper. "When you've embarrassed me in front of everyone? I can be as cross as I want." Bing felt like rolling his eyes, barely managing not to. He felt a little bad, even though he didn't think the handful of people in the common room counted as an 'everyone'. And he doubted anyone really cared what Felicity read in her free time. So he mostly thought she was being more than a little uptight. "Okay," he said, feeling annoyed that she was making a scene out of something that clearly didn't matter. She gave him a dignified sniff before heading straight for the dormitory. "Okay," she muttered, doing her best to give a rude mimic of his deep voice. He rolled his eyes, then. But annoyed or not, he still turned his attention back to the armchair and began packing up her things. He'd give them back to her when she was done being mad at him. Until then, he was going to find Dieter, who'd surely get a kick out of his new reading material. |
