If Lois hadn't already stopped the car she would have now because she burst out laughing yet again at his explanation. But when he didn't join in the laugh-fest or deliver a punchline, she sobered up and turned to look at him with a frown. "Vampires? Demons? You can't possibly believe that. It was almost as big of a story at the time as Black Thursday had been, except of course the whole planet hadn't been affected by it. "I could probably buy it if you were talking aliens," after all she'd seen a spaceship no matter what anyone said, "but a real life horror movie scenario? That's-"
She was cut off by a car behind her honking. Lois scowled and returned her attention to the road and now green light. She pulled back into traffic while mumbling a few choice words for the impatient jackass behind them. "If what you're saying is true, then why doesn't everyone know about it? Why hasn't anyone done anything about it all?"
