Merlin, was she glad there was a tablecloth on their table. She smiled even more bashfully and looked towards the door of the kitchen, wondering how much time was left. The faster the restaurant was, the faster it would be before they were alone.
Lisa was quiet for the remaining time, opting to let her ankle brush against him in return, looking as normal as she possibly could. If he looked, however, into her eyes, he'd see a bit of playfulness in there. Finally, though, the food came, and she looked over at him. For a brief second she allowed herself to look a bit excited, to let him know that she still wanted this, in case he needed some kind of reassurance. After that, Lisa ate quietly, trying to eat as quickly as she could while remaining polite and composed.
