"Well," Oliver began, reaching for a casserole dish and handing it to Katie with a smile. "Ye've come tae the right place then. Gram's an excellent cook." Oliver winked at Emilie before helping the younger girl fix her plate. Oliver was glad to have a home cooked meal as well. He'd been staying in the mill that sat about a mile into the woods behind his Gram's, and though his Grandmother had been feeding him, to sit at the table like a family again was wonderful.
"Ye're room is clean, Em." Oliver gave his sister a smile before turning to Katie. "I cleaned my room up a bit, as well. Ye can stay up there. I'm goin' tae sleep on the trundle in our mill."
