Oliver had been in the back yard for near on an hour, scanning the horizon for any signs of his friend and his sister. Years of searching the sky of incoming quaffles and players gave him a bit of advantage and he was soon calling out to Gram and taking eager steps across the yard as the two girls landed. He rushed to Emilie and pulled her into a hug before she'd even finished stepping off her broom. She seemed startled by the movement though she hugged her brother in return. She only held the embrace for a moment, allowing Oliver to kiss her on the cheek before rushing past him and hugging her Gram.
Oliver straightened, smiling as he watched her before turning to Katie. He grinned widely and engulfed her in a hug, lifting her smaller frame with his large one. He kissed her cheek as well before pulling back and flushing a bit, knowing he was acting just the same as he had after their last Quidditch game in seventh year. He smiled at Katie sheepishly.
"Thank ye so much, Katie. Ye dinnaken wha' ye've done for us."
