Summary: Oliver asks George up to Scotland to discuss retrieving his sister from France.
Oliver had owled George asking him to meet him up at his grandmother's in Scotland, but George hadn't been able to come until Monday and between cancelling with George and cancelling with Lisa, he took the already tense mood with Lisa and settled for meeting with George. He penned a note to Lisa, cancelling their session for the day and promising to meet with her tomorrow. It didn't lesson any of his nervous tension about the meeting, but pushing it back at least a day took some of the pressure off his chest.
Still, the revelation of the Ministry's upcoming plans for a ball alongside the confirmation of the Ministry's new bill was leaving Oliver with more questions than answers - and leaving the knot in his stomach feeling more tangled than before without the addition of Lisa. He had to get Emilie out of France. He couldn't leave her across the channel with no one but Babette and his aging step-grandparents for protection. He didn't want to snatch Emilie from her life, but the Ministry would do it in a heartbeat and brand her while they were at it. While he doubted they'd send a minor to Azkaban, he was certain they'd send an elder family member in her stead - and he was not going back, nor would he let them take his Gram or anyone else in his family.
So, needless to say, Oliver was puttering about his Gram's kitchen in a worried manner, working on his second pot of tea and barely picking at the shortbread Gram had set out for Oliver and his guest. Oliver dashed outside, checked the wards for the nth time that afternoon before coming back into the house and moving to the living room, waiting for George to floo in or apparate.
