"Yer worse than yer da when ye pout like tha' ye ken." Oliver sighed heavily and stepped out of his uncle's embrace. He was shifty and itching, his hackles raised and defences at a heightened sense of awareness - and his Uncle John's teasing, meant for tension breaking, was certainly not soothing Oliver into a companionable comraderie as his uncle might have hoped.
