Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel nodded along to Peony's words while sorting out what was needed, and going through the motions of the mixing process. "It can be quite the different process when taken on for longer periods." There was massive planning, and a considerable amount of teaching on the fly. The fact that one could make plans for years instead of weeks or months afforded some leeway in how quickly plans had to converge and results had to be made.... Which, really, was a blessing and a curse all at once. "I am certain it will have." Peony seemed to have a good head about her shoulders from what Aspel could commonly tell, and she saw no reason for the other woman to be lacking in such regard. "Sometimes, we can only give so much, and then we must remove the burdens from upon our shoulders." Even with the words spoken, the smith had to wonder if she could ever follow them herself.
The next words from the mage earned a low chuckle. "Ah, how true it is. No rest for the weary?" Another soft amused noise slipped out regardless of herself. Though, it would fade as the smith's face turned up, curiously - and sincerely - listening to Felicity's commentary. A serious nod was given. Though, it seemed more a drive to teach was missing in general amongst the Fighter's Guild at large. Perhaps, that was because of the strain placed upon the guild with the extra watches and double shifts several had opted to pull.
"Do you have any ideas as to who may prove a worthy assistant?" Admittedly, Aspel had given thought to several guild members that she may call to assistance in particular times of need. A few names kept resurfacing but she'd simply hate to place such burden upon them with so much else going on.
A glance was offered over to the sandwich making with a soft, sincere smile forming. "I should have this batch in the oven shortly, I can come back to assisting with the assembling in just a moment if more help is still needed with them."
