[Alecta/Altair/Ari/Open]
Alecta's patience was wearing thin and the only reason she hadn't lashed out yet was because she didn't want to make a scene. Quickly, she looked around to check no one was watching, but luckily, everyone seemed to be engrossed with their own business and problems. Good.
If Ari wanted to play it like that, so be it. Alecta wasn't opposed to it, never one to back down from a fight. But she had more pride than to cause a scene on the ball, having no desire to be the latest gossip of the city. As Ari turned to Altair, Alecta reached out, swiftly capturing her wrist in her hand, demanding attention for a moment longer.
"You're such a young, pretty girl, Ari, it would be a shame if something happened to you." It wasn't a threat, - as quick-tempered as Alecta was, not even she would harm someone over a dress - but it was definitely a warning. "Enjoy your dance." Releasing Ari's hand, she turned to leave, already eyeing a waitress serving drinks. "And Altair, we really ought to arrange a meeting sometime."
