Merrion/Ari/Drake/Open
This song was much slower than the one prior, which suited Drake quite well. He was a bit rusty, but he was able to keep his feet from landing on Ari's toes, and even managed to lead her about without making them look like fools. "I'll keep that in mind, darling," he said against her ear. "And it wasn't so bad. I walked away this time rather than being carried out." Which, really, was a major improvement. He'd need to remember to buy Aspel a bottle of wine or spirits.
He led her about the floor, keeping in time to the music for a while before she spoke, and he laughed. "He's a rather special sort," he agreed. "It makes it extremely hard to say no to him."
The music softened and then stopped. "Does that satisfy you, dear?" he asked, leading her back to where Merri stood, waiting.
