“Sure,” he said, shrugging. If she’d had some previous training with them, then it would be a matter of seeing where she was and figuring out where to go from there. It had been a while since he’d taught weapons, but he had been good at it. Not as good as he was at teaching hand-to-hand, which really was his speciality, but at the very least, he knew how to use claws. Which was more than he could say about swords. He still felt really bad about the crop of squires that had had to deal with his sword training. “If you have a pair, bring them along. If not, we can grab a training pair.”
When she mentioned lunch, Drake’s hunger returned. It had been forgotten during the course of the conversation, but was now remembered and back with a vengeance. A quick glance at the clock showed that it was a little after one, and he had a little over an hour before Divina would be there. He really needed to have food in his stomach before that happened. “Thanks,” he said gratefully. “I’ll return the dish later. I’m sure the food will be delicious.” He grinned at her.
He was just getting all sorts of homemade food lately. It was going to make it really hard to go back to take out and salads.
