Juliette hadn’t been someone he’d been expecting to see - especially not with food - but he gratefully motioned for the squire to sit down. He was hungry, but not enough to shoo the girl. And it seemed like Theo was doing her some good if he was teaching her how to cook; not the worst match, then. “Thank you,” he told her sincerely.
He’d known that people had heard about his accident - it would have been hard not to, with Merri’s vague post - and he’d expected maybe a few people to worry, but he hadn’t meant to alarm as many people as he apparently had. Fantastic. He picked up the container and placed it closer to him. “How are things going with Theo, anyway?” Might as well check in with her now that she was here. “And if he can spare you sometime next week, would you like to spar?”
Juliette was one of his favorite squires to work with, and he hadn’t had much of a chance to since he’d assigned her out to Theo. And he’d been worried because Theo had a temper, though he had enough faith in his guildmate to believe that he wouldn’t take his anger out on a squire. He was just glad he’d been right. Probably.
