GILLIAN & CIAN -- OUTSIDE THE CLINIC: 5:00PM.
Gillian looked back at the hovercar, taking a slow, thoughtful drag of her cigarette before speaking. She shrugged. Her day was going to be filled with the usual complications, but it was a relief for her to know that her associate's wounds weren't dire. Everything could be managed with patience and planning.
"It's not been hard on business, however," she admitted. "Never is."
The conversation would be short--both of them likely had places to be. But the trip had been out of the way, surely Eren could wait a few minutes by himself, contemplate what had gone wrong on the job. And how to avoid it next time. "People value protection, gives them piece of mind."
